Privacy policy

This policy explains what information zorawinslet.com collects, why, and the choices you have. The site is run by Zora Winslet (Zora Winslet Records). You can reach us at business@zorawinslet.com.

The short version

  • There are no accounts, sign-ups or forms here. We don’t ask for your name or email.
  • This site sets no cookies of its own, so there is no cookie banner. Our analytics run cookie-free.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

1. Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit, which pages and songs they look at, where visits come from, and which links they click (for example, through to Spotify or YouTube). Google Analytics may record: pages viewed, links clicked, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type, and the site that referred you. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.

Google Analytics runs in cookie-free mode (Google Consent Mode, with storage always denied). It sets no cookies and stores no identifier in your browser. Google receives only an anonymous signal that a page was viewed, which it uses to estimate overall visitor numbers.

Detailed analytics data is kept for the retention period set on our Google Analytics property, at most 14 months.

2. Advertising (Google AdSense)

This site may show advertising provided by Google AdSense. When it does:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
  • Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent message before advertising cookies are used.

3. Cookies

zorawinslet.com does not set any cookies of its own, and does not use cookies for analytics. The only cookies you may meet here come from the Spotify player and from YouTube once you press play (see below).

4. Content from other services

Parts of this site are delivered by other companies, whose own privacy policies apply:

  • YouTube. Videos use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). On song pages and in the Shorts section, nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. Thumbnail images come from YouTube’s image servers.
  • Spotify. The homepage includes a Spotify player, and cover art is loaded from Spotify’s servers. Spotify may set its own cookies when its player loads.
  • Google Fonts. Text fonts are loaded from Google, which receives your IP address in order to send the font files.
  • Hosting. The site is hosted by Hostinger, whose servers and content delivery network keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to run the service and keep it secure.

Links to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other platforms take you to those services, where their policies apply.

5. Email

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use it only to reply.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the EU and UK GDPR, India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and California law — you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to withdraw consent, and to object to its use. Because we don’t hold accounts or profiles, most data about your visit sits with Google and the other services above. Email us and we’ll help. In the EU or UK you can also complain to your local data-protection authority.

7. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
